The fish and the room (not the Tommy Wiseau one)

design and painting by HB (painting process HERE)

linework by Omar Dougan, painting by HB(process HERE)

Two assignments for digital painting on Seneca.

I had more way fun with the fish (painting process here), but in a way, the room is more "technically correct" in it's shadows and highlights.

Pitch and bat animation

Old animation I forgot to post

Animação antiga que eu esqueci de postar.

Yearbook pages

It's been so long since I last posted here.
Lots of things are happening but now I present you the 2 pages of the 2011 Seneca animation yearbook.

I put quite some thinking on what extra details to add to each original work and I have to say that I'm happy with the result.

Now the only thing is deciding if I should sign as HB or Henrique Barbieri... hum... probably both.....

Creature Creation

Sooo, this is the baby I've been nurturing for the past few weeks...
It was a crazy assignment and it took it's tool on my sleep schedule.
I can't say I'm totally happy with the outcome but the due date is today and for better or for worst, it is finished.
Maybe after the teacher grades it I can go back and work it over again to polish it a little bit more....
Who knows....

Quem sabe....

PS: D&D total aqui! Roots!

Broad jump animation

Animation assignment for Seneca's program (2nd semester)
This baby got me a perfect mark! ^____^

Animação para o 2° semestre da Seneca.
essa me recompensou com um 10! =]

Self-portrait

Following up the digital-painting series, a non-caricatural self-portrait.
I'm not so happy about the outcome of this one, but I don't have the time and patience to fix it.
in other words... bleh....
