Yearbook pages

It's been so long since I last posted here.
Lots of things are happening but now I present you the 2 pages of the 2011 Seneca animation yearbook.

I put quite some thinking on what extra details to add to each original work and I have to say that I'm happy with the result.

Now the only thing is deciding if I should sign as HB or Henrique Barbieri... hum... probably both.....

Creature Creation

Sooo, this is the baby I've been nurturing for the past few weeks...
It was a crazy assignment and it took it's tool on my sleep schedule.
I can't say I'm totally happy with the outcome but the due date is today and for better or for worst, it is finished.
Maybe after the teacher grades it I can go back and work it over again to polish it a little bit more....
Who knows....

Então, esta belezinha aqui é o que eu vim trabalhando esta última semana...
Foi absurdamente uma loucura pra se concretizar e teve seu preço pago em horas não dormidas.
Não posso dizer que estou totalmente satisfeito com o resultado mas a data de entrega é hoje e por bem ou por mau, o projeto está terminado.
Talvez depois de te-lo corrigido pelo professor eu possa voltar e retrabalhá-lo um pouco mais...
Quem sabe....

Self-portrait

Following up the digital-painting series, a non-caricatural self-portrait.
I'm not so happy about the outcome of this one, but I don't have the time and patience to fix it.
in other words... bleh....

Seguindo a série de pinturas digitais, um auto-retrato não caricatural.
Não fiquei muito contente com o resultado deste, ams eu não tenho o tempo ou paciência necessários para corrigí-lo.
em outras palavras... bleh...

Another kitchen?

So here we are again.
Digital painting is certainly fun nowadays.... But it is sure a lot of work...
had to colour my own layout and stick a character in it.
this was hard one but it turned out nice, I think....
